Field Directions

Visit www.gdmsoccer.org for directions to fields used for U12 and above games.

ALTOONA:
From I-80, take exit 143, go south into Altoona. Turn left on 8th St. Go ¾ mile to 8th Ave., turn left. Go one block. Turn right at stop sign into complex. Fields and parking lot are on left.

From Hwy 163, turn at light at 80th Street, go north to 8th Street, turn left. Go ¼ mile to 8th Ave. Turn right, go one block, turn right at stop sign into complex. Fields and parking are on your left. Park in lot or on south side of street.

U08 fields are south of the concession stands; U10 fields are north of the concession stands

BALLARD:

From I-35, take exit 210 into Slater. Turn south at Marshall St. Turn west onto 10th St (before the park). Go about a half of a block, then turn left and follow the drive to the U12 fields.

BONDURANT:

COLFAX-MINGO:

U08 Games (Conway Park) – Take I-80 to exit 155. Turn south. Turn right onto Spring St. (1 block after the elementary school). Conway Park is on the right side of the road.

For CM14S (Will play in Mingo) – Take I-80 to exit 155. Turn north onto Hwy 117 and drive approximately six miles. Turn into Mingo. Keep left at the second stop sign. DO NOT CROSS THE SMALL BRIDGE. The soccer field is behind the school, which will be on your left.

For CM12A, CM10S and CM10T (Will play in Prairie City) – From Hwy 163, take exit 18. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn right onto Norris st (just after Caseys), which will take you to the complex. The soccer fields are on the east end of complex.

From Hwy 117, turn right onto Steenhoek St. in Prairie City. Turn left at the stop sign, then turn right. The soccer fields are on the east end of complex.

KNOXVILLE:

From the West on Hwy 5/92: Take the first Knoxville exit. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Hwy 14. The driveway for the VA is approximately one block after the light and on the left. Turn left into the VA. Turn right into the parking lot past the ball field.

From the north on Hwy 14: take Hwy 14 into Knoxville. The VA will be on the right after the second stoplight (the first right after the railroad tracks). Turn right into the VA. Turn right into the parking past the ball field.

MITCHELLVILLE:

From I-80, take Cotton Ave S to 6th Street NW. Turn right onto 6th, and proceed to the stop sign. Turn right on Center Ave. N., then turn left onto 2nd St. NE. The fields are east of the city park. From Altoona: Take 8th St east into Mitchellville. Follow Center Ave. S. to 2nd St. and turn right onto 2nd St. NE. The park is at the end of the street.

NEWTON:

Take I-80 West to Exit 168. Turn north onto Beltline Road. Go past the Super Wal-Mart to the stop lights. Proceed one block to N 4th Ave. E. Turn left and go ½ block, then turn right into Agnes Patterson Park.

The soccer fields are past the parking lot to the north – past the baseball and softball fields.

NORTH POLK UNITED (Polk City):

U8 GAMES are played at the sports complex (Concession stand available)
From I-35, take Ankeny's Oralabor Road exit west – this becomes Hwy 415 – into Polk City. Turn left on Bridge Road (Casey’s is on the corner). The sports complex will be on the right.

From I-80 east, take the 2nd Ave. exit north to Polk City. Turn west on Bridge Road (Casey’s is on the corner). The sports complex will be on the right.

From I-80 west, take the Merle Hay Rd exit north to Beaver. Turn left onto Beaver, which will eventually take you over the Mile-Long Bridge. The sports complex will be on the left.

Field 5 is in the outfield of the first softball field as you pull into the complex. Field 6 is in the outfield at the back of the complex.

U10 GAMES are played at West Elementary (No concession stand available)
From I-35, take Ankeny's Oralabor Road exit west – this becomes Hwy 415 – into Polk City. Turn west onto West Broadway. The school will be on the left; both Fields 3 and 4 are west of the school.

From I-80 east, take the 2nd Ave. exit north to Polk City. Turn west onto West Broadway. The school will be on the left; both Fields 3 and 4 are west of the school.

From I-80 west, take the Merle Hay Road exit north to Beaver. Turn left onto Beaver, which will eventually take you over the Mile-Long Bridge. Turn left onto Parker Blvd. Turn right onto West Broadway. The school will be on the right; both Fields 3 and 4 are west of the school.

PELLA:

Coming into Pella from the west, take the first Pella exit off of Hwy 163. Turn right onto Washington St. Take Washington St. to T15. Turn left on T15 and continue 1.6 miles to Idaho St. Turn left and continue 1.4 miles to Neil Dr., then turn right.

The complex will be on the right.

PLEASANT HILL:

U6 – All games are played at Sunrise Park.

U8 and U10 GAMES (Doanes Park) – Take East University Ave. (Hwy 163) into Pleasant Hill. Turn South on N. Hickory Blvd. (by HyVee gas station). Turn right at first traffic light onto Maple Drive and proceed west to 3-way stop, which is Pleasant Hill Blvd. Turn left and proceed south to Doanes Park. Turn left into park entrance.

U12 GAMES (Four Mile Elementary) – Follow East University Ave. (Hwy 163) through Pleasant Hill. Turn south onto NE 65^th St. and proceed to the two-way stop, then turn left. Turn right on SE 68^th St.

U14 + GAMES (Southeast Polk Stadium) – Follow East University Ave. through Pleasant Hill and travel approximately 4 miles; the stadium will be on the right.

WAUKEE:

From I-235/I-80, travel 6 miles west on I-80 to exit 117 Waukee/Booneville. Travel 2.5 miles north to 300th St. Turn left. Travel approximately 1 3/4 miles; the soccer complex will be on the north side of the road.

From I-35, travel west on Hickman Road (Hwy 6). Turn left onto T Ave. (Waukee Christian Church is on the SW corner). Turn right onto 300th St. Travel approximately 1 3/4 miles; the soccer complex will be on the north side of the road.
